These two posters have been presented at CPEM2022 in New Zealand

The overall objective of the project is to develop a quantum sampling standard for electrical power which is open to the whole Metrology community and provides direct traceability to the new quantum SI.

Read on for further information about objectives.

Development of hardware and measurement methods

The aim of this work package is to pave the way for a smooth adaptation of existing power standards with PJVSs. New developments from some European research projects may be considered.

One of the objectives is to select the best adaptation for which proper synchronisation (between the source of PJVS, sampler and multiplexer) can be achieved. Such devices will be developed in this WP, in addition to new measurement methods for power quality quantities.

System development and validation

The outcome of this work package will be at least two working QPSs with all required hardware, methods and software.

Promotion, future plans and strategies

The aim of this work package is to ensure the wide dissemination of the knowledge generated within this project and to promote the uptake of its outputs, in particular the quantum sampling standards and methods developed.

 Creating impact

The aim of this work package is to ensure input from the stakeholder community and guarantee the efficient dissemination of project’s outcomes.
